Twisted Wonderland

Falling into the dark abyss,
Drowning in a Pool of Tears,
I feel so small, I'm shrinking.
Yet my dark aura steadily expands.
The cat sharpens its claws an flashes a toothy grin before going in for the kill.
"She is different, off with her head!"
For surely we cannot have a nonconformity in our society.
Anyone who is different is ostracized, their lives made living hell.
This twisted Wonderland, full of fear and pain, horror at every turn.
Nightmare and reality are one and the same.
We can no longer discern between illusion and the truth.
"Are you alright Alice?"
